About us We run the Professional Way email service: a service aimed at Canberra's 58,500 professionals. As part of the ACT's government export drive for the Beijing Olympics, information on Professional Way and the Professional Emailer™ have been translated into Chinese. To read the brochure, click here. (pdf, 801k)The Professional Way email service is founded on a solid business concept with identified sound revenue streams and low production costs. We are trialling the concept in Canberra and intend to expand it to the rest of Australia, then overseas. Below are our milestones in developing the email service: • July 2003: Service starts • July 2002: Trial service starts • March 2002: Software milestone 5 of 5 completed. • January 2002: User testing started. • July 2001: Software milestone 4 of 5 completed. • March 2001: Trademarked "Professional Way ", "Professional Emailer", "Your profession, your events...by email". • February 2001: Received a $14,300 grant from the ACT Government R&D Grant for Professional Emailer software development. • November 2000: Completed a 67 page business plan including financial forecasts. • June 2000: Won award for business concept from the ACT Information Industries Development Board. The founder of the business was Athol Yates.
