The aim of this course is to provide attendees with an understanding of the processes and management practices associated with the profession of project management.

The course has been designed to introduce participants to the project management body of knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner.

The third day of the course contains a number of practical exercises to reinforce attendees understanding of project management and to allow them to apply the project management body of knowledge to real-life projects.

The exercises are conducted as a combination of tutorials and activities that step through the various project management activities, focussing on integration, scope, cost, and schedule management. Throughout the exercises, realistic project management issues are introduced.
